Life in Twitterville keeps getting cooler and cooler.  I’ve been reading updates all day from the Blogworld Expo Conference in Las Vegas and all the tweeps made me wish I were there.  @CoachDeb (who is also a presenter) was tweeting about keynote speaker Gary Vaynerchuk and it charged me up and convinced me to attend next year’s expo.  If you’re on Twitter you can easily follow the updates by searching #bwe08.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, this evening they held a live Twitcast from a Tweetup in Vegas.  @WarrenWhitlock was live and in pixellated color from the Casino Floor.  A few technical hiccups to be sure but it was great to see and hear him twitterview (an interview that was broadcast on TwitCastRadio.com) some of the people I’ve been following on Twitter and introducing me to a few more.

I always get jazzed up when I attend a TwitCast.  The event was groundbreaking – I’m not sure if a live video feed has been broadcast on TwitCastRadio before.

The event was inspiring – not only did I get to hear how some people are using Twitter in their businesses but also because tweeps are acting as a force of change and bringing awareness to the fact that fresh clean water is a luxury (be sure to check out http://www.geni.org).

And… I heard the exciting news that The Twitter Revolution is now available for pre-order.  I’m hoping to snag an autographed copy somehow – have to work out the logistics but I’ll make it happen. 🙂

So that’s how I spent another Friday night, chillin’ with my tweeps and feeling like I was part of the action in Vegas.  All the cool kids are there this weekend.  If you’re in Vegas, be sure to stop by Blogworld Expo and look for my tweeps.  And if you can’t make the trip, don’t worry, you can still follow the action on Twitter.

As for me, I’m going to tear myself away from my computer long enough tomorrow to head out and snag a new iPhone.  Then my twaddiction will be complete.  Correction, when I snag my autographed copy of The Twitter Revolution by Warren Whitlock & Deborah Micek.
