Project Description
The Client originally contacted our US Partner for ongoing maintenance and support of their existing BigCommerce stores (six different stores). After a few months of support, they realized they had outgrown the parameters of BigCommerce and were ready to host their own WooCommerce store.
iDeborah Marketing managed the process of finding a new webhost that would be able to manage the load of the WooCommerce stores. As we were moving away from commercial platforms that had a host of different resources to handle web traffic spikes, server management and uptime, and speed, it was critical to find the right host. The full three phase project will involve setting up three WooCommerce websites: the main Lindsay Phillips store, a corporate website with a private Wholesale store where wholesalers can order from any of the Trimfoot lines, and a third store featuring their kids shoe brands.
Once the new custom hosting server was set up, iDeborah Marketing set to work at migrating the data from BigCommerce to WooCommerce. The main store was selected for migration with the remaining stores to be migrated in the coming months. We also customized the design of the WooCommerce product layout so as to enhance the look of product layouts as well as offer recommended accessories to go with the customer’s selection.
