When Ty Dixon put out a request for proposals, iDeborah Marketing knew at a glance what had caused the issue and highlighted the three possible causes in our response.
The audio files on her HTML website had stopped working due to the closure of the service which was hosting her audio files. iDeborah Marketing worked with Ty’s team to move the audio files to her own web server. Using an HTML 5 Audio Waveform player, a new playlist was added to her website. Ty also wanted to add a new image to the homepage slider however her previous web designer was no longer offering web services and had disabled the account where the images were being hosted. In order to make changes to the slider images, a new HTML 5 slider needed to be deployed.
Some additional tweaks were also needed but we didn’t want to invest too much in a website that is going to be redesigned. We needed to restore functionality quickly. Ty was fortunate enough to have stumbled across a web designer that has been coding since the pre-WordPress days and was comfortable with HTML website maintenance. Her previous web designer is a graphic artist, not a web coder. The entire site has been designed with a static image as the background of each page and elements positioned with div containers and hyperlinked with map tags. This type of coding hasn’t been the norm since the 90’s!
