King of the Pigs Is Ready To Serve You With Their New Restaurant Website Design
King of the Pigs first opened its doors in London, ON in 1992 and claimed a stake on the internet about a decade later. Already popular in the city, they focused on doing what they do well: making the tastiest chicken in the Forest City. Their PHP based website served them well for over two decades… until it didn’t.
The code and design of the website was outdated and prone to being hacked. Every few months, the website security would be breached and Chris Vieira would have to spend hours on the phone with GoDaddy to get things resolved. Only to have it hacked again.
iDeborah Marketing is a patron of the restaurant and was thrilled to be asked to redesign the King of the Pigs website.
A Fresh New Look That Lays The Foundation For Online Orders
iDeborah created a WordPress website that would feature the three King of the Pigs locations. As part of the development process, it was determined that the King of the Pigs had outgrown their current hosting package. The hosting was moved to iDeborah Marketing’s host server to enable us to better manage website security, performance and updates. New SSL certificates were keyed, add-on domains configured to enable three domains to point to the same hosting account and a new website was launched.
Work has also begun on an online ordering system for all three restaurants to enable the restaurants to cancel contracts with delivery app/services and increase profits.
“As far as I’m concerned, you’ve gone above and beyond what was required” Chris remarked during one of the status update calls.
Don’t tell him, we did it for the chicken!
