Definitions

Personal Data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing – any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data or on sets of Personal Data.
Data subject – a natural person whose Personal Data is being Processed.

  10. Right for the help of supervisory authority – meaning you have the right for the help of a supervisory authority and the right for other legal remedies such as claiming damages.

Data we gather

Information you have provided us with
In some situations you may provide us with your personally identifiable information, which could include your name, street address, telephone number, email address, job title, payment card number, date and place of birth, photographic image, and any other information we collect about you that by itself is not personally identifiable information but if combined with personally identifiable information could be used to personally identify you.

You may provide us with personally identifiable information when you complete a questionnaire; make a purchase; download an e-book; subscribe to email notifications and/or newsletters; provide comments, reviews, feedback, or testimonials about our products or Services; and any other transactions between you and us on or in relation to our Services.

How we use your Personal Data

As long as you have not informed us otherwise, we consider offering you products/services that are similar or same to your purchasing history/browsing behaviour to be our legitimate interest.

With your consent we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • to send you newsletters and campaign offers (from us and/or our carefully selected partners);
  • for other purposes we have asked your consent for;

We Process your Personal Data in order to fulfil obligation rising from law and/or use your Personal Data for options provided by law. We reserve the right to anonymise Personal Data gathered and to use any such data. We will use data outside the scope of this Policy only when it is anonymised. We save your billing information and other information gathered about you for as long as needed for accounting purposes or other obligations deriving from law, but not longer than 12 months.

We might process your Personal Data for additional purposes that are not mentioned here, but are compatible with the original purpose for which the data was gathered. To do this, we will ensure that:

  • the link between purposes, context and nature of Personal Data is suitable for further Processing;
  • the further Processing would not harm your interests and
  • there would be appropriate safeguard for Processing.

We will inform you of any further Processing and purpose.

Requests for Information.
If you provided your email address or phone number on the Sites to receive information from iDeborah, you agree that iDeborah, and our fulfillment partners may contact you using the contact information you provide us regarding our products and Services, such as offers, support and product updates. iDeborah and our fulfillment partners may make such contact by email, phone and/or text, including the phone number you provide us. You can opt out at any time as described in the “Opting Out” section found below within this Policy.

Email.
We may communicate with a customer through email using the customer’s personal contact information on file in our systems to inform the customer of new products, important industry news or information about Services and upgrades provided by iDeborah.

Disclosures to Third Parties.
We may disclose information collected from a customer to our independent contractors and vendor partners who have agreed to (i) hold this information in confidence, and (ii) not use it for any purpose except to carry out the services they are providing for iDeborah. Such contractors and business partners include those hosting our Services or other data; managing the functionality of our Services; hosting customer relationship management, marketing automation, customer service and other software platforms on our behalf; processing credit or other payment card payments; collecting delinquent accounts; fulfilling and processing orders; delivering products you have ordered; assisting with marketing and promotions; and enabling us to send you email.

Who else can access your Personal Data

We do not share your Personal Data with strangers. Personal Data about you is in some cases provided to our trusted partners in order to either make providing the service to you possible or to enhance your customer experience.

Our Sites may contain links to third party websites. Please note that the privacy and other policies of any such third party website may differ materially from this Policy. We strongly recommend that customers review the privacy policies of any such third party prior to submitting personally identifiable information. iDeborah has no control over and is not responsible for the information practices of other websites, including those to which we may link and those which may link to us.

  • HostGator: For web hosting and data storage of iDeborah.com and all cookies and any possible personal data collected via our wesbite.
  • WordPress: The Content Managment System that manages the iDeborah.com website.
  • 1ShoppingCart: For order processing and mailing list management
  • Stripe: For credit card processing
  • Google: For analytics and to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website.

Our business partners:

  • Freshbooks: For billing and invoicing purposes

Connected third parties

  • Our Sites may include social media features, such as the Facebook® or Twitter® button and similar widgets. To the extent we use these Features, they may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social media Features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing the Feature or widget.

We only work with Processing partners who are able to ensure adequate level of protection to your Personal Data. We disclose your Personal Data to third parties or public officials when we are legally obliged to do so. We might disclose your Personal Data to third parties if you have consented to it or if there are other legal grounds for it.

How we secure your data

We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe. We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

We use reasonable and diligent efforts to maintain accurate information on our customers, and have adopted and implemented reasonable industry standard security procedures to protect any such information collected. We constantly monitor our systems, which are protected using industry-standard security measures. Although iDeborah will use reasonable efforts to secure network communications and our Sites, we cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on, or transmitted from our systems will be completely secure.

Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.

Children

We do not intend to collect or knowingly collect information from children. We do not target children with our services.We believe that protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important and for that reason we will never collect or maintain information on our Site from those we actually know are under the age of 13, and no part of our Site is structured to attract anyone under 13.

We use cookies and/or similar technologies to analyse customer behaviour, administer the website, track users’ movements, and to collect information about users. This is done in order to personalise and enhance your experience with us.

Other General Policies Relating to Privacy

Use of Testimonials.
We may select and post customer testimonials on our Services, which may contain personally identifiable information such as your name and/or the city, state, or country in which you live. We will obtain your consent prior to posting any testimonial with your name. If you post such content, it will be available to other users of the Services. Your posting may also become public and we cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that may violate this Policy or the law. If you would like us to remove or delete your name or testimonial from our Services, you may contact iDeborah using the information in the “How to Contact Us” section of this Policy. Note that copies of information that you have updated, modified, or deleted may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of our Sites for a period of time.

Opting Out.
You may opt out of having your personally identifiable information shared with third parties for reasons other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested and except as required by law. How do I unsubscribe from the iDeborah Marketing newsletters?

We think you’ll be amazed by all the helpful insights you’ll learn from the iDeborah Marketing newsletters. But you can easily stop receiving them at any time. Simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message you receive. You will be taken to a page where you can remove yourself from the mailing list. Once you do, you will no longer receive our iDeborah Marketing training in your inbox.

How often will I receive newsletters?

You’ll receive at least a couple of newsletters per week, so you can count on getting new business tips and training from iDeborah Marketing often. Be sure to add iDeborah Marketing to your “safe senders” list. That way, you’ll be sure to receive their messages in your inbox instead of them accidentally winding up in your spam folder.

What will I learn from the newsletter that is not already on the site?

Plenty! The articles on the iDeborah Marketing site only give you a sneak peak of what you’ll learn about marketing your business online through their newsletters.
